Yes, Pam,

It isindeed subjective. I was just trying to giv e an idea of what6
inches, not an exact measurement.
It is like the height of a horse is measured in hands; in this case the
width of a hand which is established at four inches.
So a pony could be 14 hands high, while a jumper could be 16-17 hands high.
A large percentage of hands are probably about 2-3 inches wide.

OK, it's hands off from here.

I would think that might be subjectiv, depending on the size of your hand.

Think of six inches as the length of your hand from the tip of your finger
to the point where your hand joins your wrist.

See everybody talks about the cameras and moving them this inch or that inch
and I have no idea what that means.
Yes I know it's a measurement but not what 6 inches means.
So Aira will tell me to move it closer to me and I'll do it very slowly.
That works a lot better than using the word inches.
John

Carolyn:

Actually, I find the eye note app on the iPhone much more efficient than the
eye bill.
It also tells you whether you are looking at the front or back of the bill.
You just open the app and hold the phone about six inches above the bill and
that is it.
