this pc or laptop is going to come with windows 10 100% and you cant downgrade.
the cause of this is the 6th gen cpu.
according to microsoft on all 6th gen cpus windows 10 is only supported.
if you put windows 7 or 8.1 there wont be drivers for it however
windows 10 drivers should work.
but any way there is no point putting a old os on a new cpu

Well done Heather, I think you've got a good machine there :)
Re your mum, if she's been using Vista and you're giving her a Windows
8 machine then it's most likely worth her while just immediately
upgrading it to Windows 10 as it will be slightly more familiar and

Hello, I called hp today and this is what they came up with! I was
wondering if someone would not mind telling me if this is what I need! I
know it has it's own graphic memory so it will not use the memory on the
computer! I was a little confused about the 512 verses the 256 specs! I
still don't know how large the c drive is?! I wanted like a 2tb
They said it was a solid state drive or SSD drive! And they said because
have two external drives, i did not need a large c-drive! I will use
pc to run my k1000, jaws 15,dxb, and my media or movies I need this
to last a long time like my other ten year old machine that died!!

Well. The specs sound good never did see anything about the hard drive
than 2TB which means it more than likely is not a SSD which is fine but I
would make sure it was at least 7200 speed for the HD if not more. Lots
ram and very good processer speed.
Now have you checked out Dell it self ? You would need to shop on the
business side more than likely to get W7 on one!
I also would check out the Microsoft store for PC running W7 on it. they
don’t have all the un wanted software you get on one . Also on the dell
business side you usually don’t get all the un wanted software! JST!

Hello, it is cheaper for me to buy a win7 desktop than a updated version
jaws! I have been searching on amazon for the past few days for a win7
professional desktop and dell seems to be the only one that has knew
machines with win7 on them! I am not a big fan of dell but, this machine
had the best reviews! here is the link to it
I did not like the fact that all the ports were on the back of the
instead of the top or the front! But they said it was good for one to
exspand the machine so maybe I can add the parts from my old machine that
kept! I do wish it was cheaper but, way cheaper than the dell site by
Can someone let me know if this is a good machine to last me for a while,
other machine lasted five almost six years! Thanks, Heather
