Yes that should work.  I was being lazy but there are actually a few ways of doing this. You could use one of the disk encryption utilities like DiskCryptor

or VeraCrypt.

Or Anvide Seal Folder

if you only want to password lock specific folders.  If you decide to try Anvide Seal Folder, let me know because there are a couple of accessibility issues to be aware of.

Hi Carlos, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong but I wonder if encrypting a folder would work in this case. The container could then be copied to the usb drive.

You can try this utility Rohos Mini Drive.

Although I have not personally tested it so I have no idea if it is accessible.  I could have sworn that I have seen another similar tool over the last few months, but I can't remember what it was called at the moment.

I just bought a usb drive because I had a very bad experience with a old USB drive that I left forgotten somewhere and someone made a copy of what I had in the USB drive. Well, I want to see if there is a kind of software that allow me using jaws, to protect with a personal password what ever I have in that portable USB drive?

There is this printer at my job at the school district in my office. They switched me to another office, so I took the printer that was in the office to the new office.

 

I connected the printer into my laptop so I can print; however, it says it’s offline.  When I used the printer in the previous office with it connected to my laptop, it printed.

 

Why is it not printing now?  How do I get it online.
