Agree. The payTech guy got away with waaaaaay too much.. As for humor, while I don't run a list, but a list without humor is too flat for me. And Carlos got me laughing Yesterday, probably unintentionally, but still. I think there's everything for a good list here. Sent from a BrailleNote

Now, the way things were going on the other list, it was inevitable that, sooner or later, there would be a split. The only surprising thing, is that it was Carlos who was 'banned' from it. Joseph has written eloquently on the matter of list moderation. I do run a Googlegroup myself, and certainly, off-list diplomacy should be the first course tried when there is a dispute or something that is clearly 'off topic' according to an admin moderator's interpretation. If I needed to step down for reasons of my health, I would stay out for an extended period of time. (I have unsubscribed from some lists in the past, including BlindTech itself, for similar reasons.) BTW, it may just be me, but I do allow humour on the list that I run. (If curious, google the word 'vibistro'. It's primarily a list about Irish radio & television, with overlaps from the UK stations we in Ireland can receive.) Anyway, Carlos, a very good start has been made here! -----Original Message----- From: amanda burt Sent: Sunday, August 30, 2015 8:07 PM To: TechTalk@groups.io Subject: Re: [TechTalk] New developments on Blindtech Hi I agree with this. I don't think that anyone should be removed from a list for not doing anything wrong accep express their views Amanda. -----Original Message----- From: Jeremy Sent: Sunday, August 30, 2015 7:20 PM To: TechTalk@groups.io Subject: Re: [TechTalk] New developments on Blindtech Haha, mean? I'm not sure that I've ever seen Carlos being mean to anyone. :D I can certainly understand any frustrations he, or anyone else may have had with the bt list, as I'd had a few of my own, but, he's always kept his messages polite, as far as I can remember. I certainly wish the best for this list, the bt list, and any others that offer help towards others who need it, but, seeing the back and forth bs that seemed to be common for BlindTech was beginning to get a little silly. Certainly my thanks for this new one, and here's to it being able to give the same amount, if not more, help to those of us who like these sorts of things. hehe Take it easy. Blessings. My common about the new co-owner and his response were both public. ----- Original Message ----- From: "rajmund" <brajmund2000@gmail.com To: <TechTalk@groups.io Sent: Sunday, August 30, 2015 11:16 AM Subject: Re: [TechTalk] New developments on Blindtech Hi Carlos, Ah, so did you even have a chat with him? Because, when I asked why you were banned, I got a don't know. But if you had an argument with him, too, he must have known. So this means he has hidden it. Am I missing something here? ----- Original Message ----- From: Carlos <carlos1106@nyc.rr.com To: TechTalk@groups.io Date: Sunday, 30 August 2015 4:09 pm Subject: Re: [TechTalk] New developments on Blindtech With all due respect, Michael seems to go through one of these phases about every few months. And this is not the first time he has given the list away and then taken control back within a day. The fact is that his new co-list owner was rude to me in private messages and when I commented on this fact, he immediately went on the defensive and was quite rude himself. And when I defended myself and responded to her rudeness, she immediately banned me from the list so no thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: Gene To: TechTalk@groups.io Sent: Sunday, August 30, 2015 10:40 AM Subject: [TechTalk] New developments on Blindtech You, Carlos, or others who may have left Blindtech may want to reconsider. Michael Capell has gotten the list back and has sent out an announcement indicating that there will be very few rules and that rules will be greatly relaxed. The very brief owners are no longer either owners or moderators. I always post a question and then right when I send it, I figure out my own problem. However, with it being 4 in the morning now, I have no idea how I got there... I was just tabbing and down arrowing and poof there it was lol. But, I couldn't figure this out ever since getting windows 10 which is a few weeks now. So, since my brain isn't functioning right now, lets just forget this email ever came through... Anyways, apparently, I'm still having trouble accessing my c drive an any other external drives when plugging them into my laptop running windows 10. My daughter says, when I tell her, for example, I'm trying to locate my passport, which is the name of my 1tb external hd, she clicks on the mouse and then jaws says this pc, so how can I get to this pc via the keyboardė°«his pc is in the file explorer which use to show my c drive, dvd drive etc, but it's not showing any of that.
