As I said unfortunately I don't really have much of an opinion. It doesn't
particularly offend me so if anyone wants Rob to change this practice,
you're going to have to convince him yourself LOL. I can see both points of
view, but I don't consider it a serious enough issue to intervene.

There is not going to be a resolution to this, but this beast belongs
to Carlos so whatever he says, goes.

Just wait until someone writes an entire book and Rob responds lol.

I just don't like it but it's not a hill I choose to die on.

I rather like his format since you know right away what he is answering.

My coworker does that all the time, but she's 72 with heart problems.

And haha to Genos correction for bottom posting!

It's quicker to say bottom posting compared to whatever he wrote.

LOL I don't believe I've ever had anyone sighted jump up and down and
scream at me about formatting. Does that really happen? It sounds
like these may be some overly dramatic sighted people.

Seriously though, I'm not sure if I have much of an opinion about this
issue one way or the other. I personally don't have a problem
determining where Rob's posts begin, but that is most likely because
I've usually just finished reading the message to which he is
replying. I suppose technically it could be considered bottom
posting, but this practice is common on forums and it is always
referred to as quoting. In fact, most forum software has a link or
button associated with each post specifically for quoting.

Well he does he says so and so wrote and ten his reply is right below
the what so and so wrote. I myself find this very helpful this way I
know exactly who and what he is responding to. So I myself would
like him to continue to do this. In fact I wish others would do this.
I don't myself do this but I should as it makes things much more clear!

Hi all,

"What's in a name?" WS I'm calling it bottom posting because it
comes at the bottom of the quoted material. I have a problem with
this kind of posting, especially, as happened in one post, when the
poster starts his own post on the same line as the original post.
It's really aggravating!
It would help immensely if Rob could at least do us the courtesy of
typing a few stars or number signs or something so we
*know* when his post starts! Or, at the very least, start the new
post on a separate line. Formatting! Formatting! No wonder sighted
people jump up and down and scream at us blind because we don't
understand formatting.
In
this case, the formatting is crucial.

Shoot, guys, you asked me to quote previous posts in my own email,
and I'm trying hard to comply with your polite request. It would be
very nice if others could do the same thing.

Ann P.

Original message:
if you just down arrow two or three times and let a bit read of the
second and third lines, if there is a third line, you will quickly
find the new message. It isn't bottom posting. it is posting a
message below two or three lines of a previous message being
responded to. The quoted material seldom exceeds three lines.
