Lol, no, Carlos, I already tried that before I wrote to the list. I ended up going to the dropbox folder by way of Windows Explorer, and I was able to rename it. I should have said I had already tried to rename it with the DB application open. You probably thought I was the stupidest thing since Jethro Bodean. Thanks for any and all help; it has been resolved.

The first thing you can try is shortening the names of the subfolders containing the files by renaming them.

I’m moving a folder in Dropbox but I get a message from Windows telling me the source and file names are goo long. On another list a long time ago, someone told me something to do about it but I don’t remember what it was. I thought I kept the message. Thanks for help.
