Doing a defrag before you reinstall windows is totally pointless. What
I would do is image windows, but I have so much stuff going on that I
don't have the time to reinstall windoes once every two months, not to
mention all the work it would take setting everything up again. I say
you should reinstall windows every 1.5 years. I've had windows seven
installed for about 3 years now and defrag plus some pruning makes it
run about the same as it always has.
