Re: uninstalling corrupted programs in windows 10?

Carlos

The registry only stores settings. You can remove references to a program from the registry, but that will not uninstall it. You must also delete all of the files installed by the application. Also as I have warned before, removing registry keys should be done with caution. With many programs, removing references from the registry will cause no problems, but depending on the program and it's intended purpose, it is not impossible that you might experience issues.

What if, for example, they were installed 4 weeks ago, you tried to remove them a week ago, and it's not working? Reverting it that far back could be a little risky... Would Looking them up in the registry work?

Short of using System Restore, there is no established method for removing
corrupted program installations.

Hi All,
So, I have a few things that I've installed, and now want to uninstal,
but, I get errors like this and that file couldn't be found, with another
one, the uninstall option doesn't even appear. Tried a quick google
search, but those all just say restore point, and that I should look for
an uninstaller, which, don't apply here. Does anyone have some ideas?
