Hi all,

Howard, it probably means either the file is protected, or they want you to do something with Adobe, not Windows. If I were thee, I'd invest in DocuScan Plus and get rid of Adobe. It doesn't do graphical .pdf's.

When the reader opens, it tells me I might be using some kind of access
technology and the file may not read properly. I should disable protected
mode. But does it mean in the Adobe software or in the Windows system? In
either case, I don't find the menu items they are pointing to. Any
thoughts, please.
