Re: jaws windows 7 and outlook express

Carlos

Hi Carolyn,
No this problem is specific to JAWS and Outlook Express in Windows 7 where by default it will use the scripts for Windows Mail.

I wonder if you could go into
Alt V for View and go around
in those or Alt T for Tools to
see if there is a setting for
marking messages as unread. I
don't have it now, so can't
really tell you which commands
to get for that.

Bye for now,

Carolyn

Okay, you can download the
scripts using the link below.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/jhit
8i1uiud69q5/OutlookExpressJAWS
Scripts.zi
p?dl=1 They should resolve
the unread status not being
spoken, but
they might not do anything
about JAWS saying "picture 1".
I could be
wrong though so let me know.
Just run the included
Install_Scripts.cmd as
administrator to install them.

Hello James,
What version of Windows
are you running and did you
install my
modified JAWS scripts?
Assuming of course that you
are in fact running JAWS.

okay is their a script
that will fix juaws not
telling me that a
message is read or
unread, also when i put
someone in my
addressbook it says
picture 1 for some weird
reason.

Amazon Fire TV

I have a blind friend who
says that it is. However, as I
recall, it
is made to work with
Amazon media and not with
other television
options.
