C\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Freedom Scientific\JAWS\VersionNumber\Settings\enu

Replacing "User Name" and "Version Number" in the path as appropriate with your user name and the version of Jaws you are running.

Hi James,

I don't know why Outlook Express isn't showing in Manage Application Settings.  When you ran the Outlook Express installer, did you run it as Administrator?
Take care.

Hi James,

Try the following:
1. Open your Jaws context menu.
2. Press enter on options.
3. Arrow down to, Manage Application Settings, & press enter.
4. Press the letter, O, until you land on Outlook Express.
5. If this checkbox is unchecked, press the spacebar to check it, & tab to, Okay, press enter to save the change & close.  If it's already checked, press escape to close without making any changes.

Take care.

Hi Carlos,

Getting into this a little late but, would it make a difference if James went into the Jaws Context Menu / Options / Manage Application Settings, & made sure that Outlook Express was checked for the OE scripts to run?
Take care.

Windows Mail does not have the integrated contacts list or the ability to create identities.  It does however have a basic spam filter.  I haven't used Windows Live Mail enough to enumerate the differences.

Do you mean the scripts or the Outlook Express installer?  If you mean the installer, I'm not sure that it will make a difference, but the latest version of Outlook Express for Windows 7 requires a donation of
$10 to receive installation keys.  You can donate and download the installer
here,
http://www.runasxp.com/forum-2.html
but you will have to register on the forum to donate and access the download
link.  There is a captcha which you can resolve with WebVisum/Firefox.  Or
you can download the last completely free version from my Dropbox.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/o8dzd63tcftsk0y/oe6_1.6.7.exe?dl=1
The installation is pretty straight forward, but you should make sure to run
it as administrator and reboot after the installation.

I'm not sure what the problem is then.  I vaguely remember that I may have had to recompile the scripts with JAWS 16 which is why I suggested that step, but I'm not 100 percent sure.  In either case, they work for me with JAWS 16 as well. If it says anything other than
"OutlookExpress 6 settings, MSOE.DLL"
then the correct scripts are not being used.

Hi James,
It looks like you changed the subject line or forwarded a message, but I'm not clear as to whether you tried my last instructions.
