it is also possible to do this with Open Book as well.
One would use the save to audio option.
Further just to clarify Kurzie equals Kurzweil for those who might be new to either this list OCR programs or blindness itself in the interest of clarity. All three programs mentioned do what they do quite well and are viable options for all sorts of tasks.

Epub books are etext books. You would need a text-to-speech converter
like Kurzie or Docuscan Plus, and you'd get a computer voice.
Is it possible to convert epub books into mp3s?
