After opening the View Menu with, Alt + V, make sure, List,
is checked, & after opening, Sort By, what options are
available to you? If you don't get it fixed I'll give you a

I'm not Mike, but I can answer you. It should be right under
the size option and descending should be right below it.

You might also make sure that list or details, I use
details, is checked in the view menu as well. That shouldn't
matter, but sometimes computers are picky.
