Well, something crashed so if you get more than one of this message
please forgive me.

Gene, I believe that's her signature line and has nothing to do with

You can block the number at any time. You don't have to wait for them to
call again.

Thanks Mike, I looked in my account on spectrum.com and didn't get very
far so this may help. The number that I mentioned receiving earlier about
the insurance has called back 4 different times even though my mom told them
we weren't interested so I'll use that *60 to block it for sure. Oh do I
block it when they call, or can I use *60 to block them before they call
again?

Btw your tag line says go Dodgers, where are they going? lol! If they
run into the astros in the world series they might just go down!

Here's how I block calls using Charter. / Spectrum:

Press, *60, & follow the prompts.

You need to hear a beep tone then, press the pound / number button, enter
the 10 digit phone number you want to enter, & press the pound / number
button again.

Take care. Mike. Go Dodgers!

No, Nomorobo does not allow you to block specific numbers. That is not
it's purpose. Although I believe there may be a way to report suspected
numbers. Just keep in mind that Nomorobo has certain criteria for what
qualifies as a robo call. Sometimes a call such as the one you are
describing is simply a case of mistaken identity. If you want to block
specific numbers, there is another feature called "selective blocking" which
will allow you to do that. There is probably a star code for accessing this
feature directly from your phone, but I don't remember what it is offhand
and it can also be accessed by logging into your Spectrum account online.
Although one call does not make a pattern so I don't see any point in
becoming overly concerned.

Subject: [TechTalk] nomorobo

Hi all,

I just called a few days ago and had nomorobo activated on my landline
phone, which is through Spectrum which is my cable company btw. If anybody
on the list uses nomorobo, which blocks robo calls, can I also block other
numbers that I don't want to receive calls from and if so how?

Since I activated nomorobo approximately a week ago I've received at
least one call that sounded like a local call but when I answered it was a
recording saying that the warranty was about to expire on an item, but it
didn't even tell me what item it was. Then, today alone I've received 2
calls from a number and when we answered it the second time it was a person
trying to sell us insurance or something, my mom took the call so I'm not
exactly sure what it was. Can I block calls like that with nomorobo though,
and if so how?

Thanks. I logged in on nomorobo.com and looked around, but although
many questions were answered I didn't find my specific question answered.

Thanks.

Troy
