You evidently didn't ask the right question.
You seem to have asked about the cost of buying Openbook, not upgrading
it. I say seem because I don't know if you used the wrong word or if the
person taking your call misunderstood the question, even if you asked it
correctly.
The cost of purchasing Openbook has always
been about 1000 dollars. The cost of upgrading Openbook was 150 dollars as
long as I've done it starting in about 2000. the cost may have risen, but
nothing like the figure you gave.
