Ok thanks, I often use the favourites option in firefox to
create a favourite and use the favourite to get the url,

When the YouTube page opens, press Insert Space to turn off
browse mode, use
the letter M to mute, and then press Insert Space again to
turn browse mode
back on so you can retrieve the URL from the address bar.
Repeat the above
if you want to unmute. Note that there are other keys which
can be used to
control playback while browse mode is off.

On this subject, when I go to youtube, how do I hear what
nvda is saying to save the page as a link to create a link
to copy into a program such as free youtube mp3 download

or

some other program, the audio from youtube plus nvda over
ride one another. It is difficult to find my way around

site. I need to be able to mute youtube.

Since I don't know what specific problems you are having
with youtube, I'll describe one easy way to work with it.

I

won't comment about searching on youtube itself. I don't

do

that. I use google. If I want to find something, I

search

for the item and add the word youtube to the search. For
example, Satisfaction Rolling Stones youtube
and the results are as easy to work with as any Google
search. Scripts are unnecessary and I haven't heard of

any.

The file will play if you follow the link unless it can't

be

played for some reason.

If you use the command shift enter, not just enter, when
following a result, the result will open in a new window.
if you want to go back and listen to another result,

simply

use alt f4 to close the window and you will return to
exactly where you were on the Google page.

i mean i can't find individual results. do people use any
scripts with jaws to make u tube easeier.
