type update into the edit box,
and wait a few minutes, you should then see the available update,
again, takes quite a while to download, and install, and restart.
2 hours or so.

So where do you look to find if your computer is ready to install or download? I went to windows update and it says I am up to date.

no, there's nothing special you need to do, however, you'll need to be patient, it takes quite a long time. so, again, be patient.
so, start the update, and go away, find something else to do for a hout or so,
you envetually will receive a prompt to restart.
Hello, my pc saids it is ready to receive the update from 1703 to 1709. Is there anything I should do before I update? Cheers Heather
