EyeNote is now gone from the iOS app store at least as it hadn't been updated for iOS 11. If it's back it's news to me. and I believe the Namt Money Reader another poster referred to is now free.

If you have a smartphone, download seeing ai which is free or download moneyreader which is $9.99. In my opinion, both of them are superior to the alternative that you are using.

I had the same problem until I was told that the bills have to be
inserted horizontally - with the short side into the scanner - in
order to work properly.
