We had to get a router to have Wi-Fi. We are leasing it, oh

yes, and that is in that $67.49 bill. Well, anyway, the reason we leased it is because we thought it was worth it, since if anything went wrong, they could so easily blame whatever the problem might be on the router box, which would not be their equipment. Best regards, Carolyn

Gene, The question is could I have Wi-Fi without internet or ATT. The bottom line, ATT is ripping me off, as I'm sure they have done it to others for many years! One might think with all this new technology, Wi-Fi just might be available. I'm also wondering about Hotspot on my phone, as I might be able to turn Hotspot in to a Wi-Fi, but I don't know if I would need Wi-Fi service connected with an internet service. I'm not completely sure yet. To clarify, the original question was based on a misunderstanding of what Wi-Fi is. The question is really about wired Internet service. I don't know anything about MVNOs and I don't know if money might be saved when using a wireless device if one is used but that is a different question from what was raised. Sis Janet, have you considered taking a look at an MVNO? Or, is there something special you're getting fromAT&T? I still use H2O WirelessNow, get 8GB data monthly, and pay $36 with autopay. I can access the Internet and whatever else floats my boat on my Shiny Android toys. Oh, I also get $20 extra free cash for international calls! No, this doesn't give me enough talk time to certain countries; however, when it runs out, Google Duo does the trick for me. I don't have cable, not too much into tv and, if that ever changes, I think I'll take a good look at YouTube Tv which I'll be able to access on my Shiny Android toys! So, for me, no need for a tv box! If I can do it all on my toys that's my better preference until my tastes change. Sincerely, Olusegun Denver, Colorado
