Pressing Alt+Equal while at the bottom of a column or end of a row will insert the formula with the cell coordinates to be added. For example, if you were at the bottom of column B and you wanted to add rows 2 through 10, place focus in either B11 or B12 and press Alt+Equal and you would get the formula =SUM(B2:B10). If the coordinates are correct, press the Enter key.

Does anyone know how to add a column of numbers?  I think that there is a formula to place in the first open cell at the bottom of the column
