Re: IOS mailing list; was iOS 9.1

Chip Orange

Thanks for posting again.

This is necessary of course due to myself and others not being on the list
at the time you first posted it. It could be helpful posted somewhere else,
but I'm afraid we'd just end up asking where the somewhere else is, that
such things are posted (I still wouldn't know, except someone named Carlos
may have something to do with it).

I do appreciate it.

BTW, I do not recommend the VIPhone list as it seems to have no traffic at
all.

Chip

Hello,
LOL, its not that I mind it, but I've posted this a few times. Wonder
whether Carlos wants to add it somewhere? Anyway:

Hi all,

I am new to my Iphone, and was wondering if there's a mailing list for IOS
users.

I've purchased two poor choice books for myself, but finally finding and
purchasing the appropriate third one ("getting started with IOS 8" by Anna
Dresner). It would help me a lot if I could talk with other IOS users about
this stuff. I'm late to this party.

Blind people have to double tap while sighted people slide. If you need
sighted help with your device as I did, you need to have him/or her turn off
VO so they can slide. Double tapping for a sighted person is harder and
when VO is on, a sighted person can't scroll.

I heard it say, "slide to set-up" but forgot that I needed to double
tap on that. Hopefully the next time I will remember, smile.
