Re: goldwave q point splitting question

Hi,

Here's how to use Q points to split into separate files.

First, place a Q at the very start of the file so you don't lose the first track.

Next, press E. Then press O. Next press S.

Follow the prompts. The first is USE THIS FOLDER. It's checked. If not, check it.

Press tab once. Enter the folder to use. You probably won't need to do anything with the rest of the dialog.

Press Enter. Eventually this will start the splitting process. At this point, if the folder you named does not exist, you will be asked if it should be created. It assumes Yes. Press Enter. The files will appear as tracks in the folder you named.

Subject: [TechTalk] goldwave q point splitting question

I have placed q points into an audio file in goldwave and then went to the effects menu and went down to the q point option. the split file option is unabaiable.

Not sure why, but I cannot split a file using the q points I have placed in teh file.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Keith
