Re: A Greater Than question

Sorry I came so late to this one--it arrived when my old computer died and I
was still awaiting a new system. Anyone using Outlook who can suggest how to
accomplish this in that particular program? Thanks!

If you change the showing of the greater sign in your reply settings, they
are actually not there. If you just want them to be not spoken, you can use
the JAWS dictionary to change them to be silent.

Hi all,

It's telling your screen reader not to announce them, which is the same as
deleting them, really. If you don't hear them, you don't see them and they
are virtually deleted, yet they are visible to people who want to see them.

Is that getting rid of them, or is it just telling your screenreader
not to speak them? Pam.

You can get rid of the greater than signs by going into your email
reply settings. I agree, they can be very annoying.
