I know, but either will work.  Someone will probably provide the JAWS solution but if the person wants to stop the problem as soon as possible, they can do this.  Also, people using other screen-readers will be able to stop the problem this way as well, whether their screen-reader allows this to be changed in the screen-reader or not.

How to stop jaws from making the little sounds, and saying mis spelled word not the word misspelled from Microsoft.

 

I would like to turn this off also

Whatever you can or can’t do in JAWS, you can turn the feature off in Word itself.
