I should add that only one option works, depending on the placement and design of the split button.

There are three possible ways to open split buttons.  Right arrow, down arrow, or alt down arrow. 
If you use space bar on a split button, the default action will be carried out.  Opening a split button shows you more options.  As I recall, you use enter on them as though you were in a menu.

Hi all
Anyone who use the check spelling functionality of office 2019? When i use this, and press tab to any of its suggestion, Jaws sometimes announce slipt button, but I don't know how to open the split button to see all of the suggestion from there. If I press spacebar, word acept the default suggestion from that button. I don't know if is that a split button, or Jaws recognizes the wrong control type. If it is a split buttn, please show me how to activate that button to see the suggestion from there.
I can use office 2019 with both Jaws and NVDA. any help would be appreciated.
