Re: Using Zoom Meetings on Windows 10

Hi Sharon,

If you need to download the desktop Win 10 version of Zoom, use this link:

I think the download will start automatically. After you install it,
whenever you click on an invitation link it will open the desktop app. I
don't know what screen reader you use, but I use Jaws and the app layout is
easy to understand and navigate. Everything is labelled so you can tell what
button you're on and the instructions for speaking, etc., should be within
the app. At least that's where I found them. You may want to join the
meeting or class as early as possible so you can get used to the layout of
the app. Just tab around and everything you need should be right there.

I didn't think of including my questions about using the Zoom app on
Windows 10. I'm trying to register for a class on Zoom. I understand that
I need to click on the invitation link that should be sent to me, but what
should I expect after that? Just to make sure, do I need to always press or
click something in order to speak and listen, and how's the layout once I'm
successfully connected with the link? I want to download the Zoom app to
my laptop PC with the latest version of Windows 10.
