While the thread is still receiving a message now and then, it appears to me that it is just about ready to stop.  Because it may cause ill feeling on the list, if I still see enough activity to amount to anything in the next few hours, I’ll lock the thread.

I’d rather let the discussion continue if it doesn’t take over the list rather than censor what is said about Carlos.  As an individual and not speakihng as the owner. I agree that things representing Carlos as having or believing certain views shouldn’t be sent because we don’t know what he thought about such things.  We know the kind of person he was and how he lived and that he helped people in valuable ways and that is worth commemorating.  If someone says something like I believe he is in heaven, or something of the sort, that’s the person’s belief, which is fine, but putting beliefs in
Carlos’ mouth, as though he believed them is without foundation.

Hi Pat,
Since I'm the one that usually initiates the emails for the birthdays & the passing of Carlos to keep his memory alive, are you asking / suggesting that all posts' regarding Carlos are stopped?!  You said,
" we need to Honor him and let him truly (Rest in Peace)."
Are you just referring to the Xmas post / prayer?  Anyways, if list members would like for all posts' about Carlos be stopped, then maybe this is something the list owner / moderators should take a poll on.  Personally, I've never met anyone as computer savvy that could explain things in lamens terms as well as carlos, and I just don't see anything wrong with giving him his coodos at times.  Thoughts please list owner & moderators?

Take care.  Mike.  Sent from my iBarstool.  Go Rams!

Hi Everyone,
I too, Definitely appreciate the sentiment in what was sent. However, I do
not believe that we should write anything in Carlos name, as if he had
written it.

Carlos was a Very Kind person, so Very Gifted in computer knowledge and
know-how, and helped so many of us. This is evidenced by how we are still
passing around is so Very Helpful information. All of it is Definitely
Carlos' gift to us, and I know that all of us Treasure that information.

We also Treasure our many memories of and with him, which will forever be in
our hearts.

I have to say something about the author of the letter. I am not sure who
wrote the original letter way back when. However, I do know that this same
letter was sent to me after my Mom passed away on December 19th of 2011. I
can tell you that it really helped me through Christmas that year.

There is only one other thing that I would like to say. Because we Treasure
Carlos So Much, as a person and as a helper, we need to Honor him and let
him truly (Rest in Peace).

Take care, Everyone, and let us, as I will,  keep remembering Carlos with

Blessings and All the Very Best,
Pat Seed
