Re: is victor stream second generation the same as victor stream new generation

I believe that I have a Victor Vibe player. Learning Ally, formerly Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic, was selling them at a discounted price of $64.00. I had been an RFB member during my high school days but this player was available much later and I didn't think I'd want one, despite the price, as I didn't see myself reading books from RFB at that time. My wife convinced me to get the player as she said that there could come a time when I'd want to return to school. I decided she was right and I also realized that RFB had plenty of books that interested me beyond what I'd need for classes I might decide to take. It was a nice player, which could play DAISY CDs, regular music CDs and MP3-formatted files. It had no ability to connect to and download books from the Internet but, as a CD player, I liked it but I admit I haven't used it in years.

I remember them. There was the victor vibe and the victor wave. I think the

The problem with the controls is that the instructions were written wrong,
so you had to figure out what they really meant. Pam.

I think victor Vibes were around in this century, but quite early.
They used cds.
They looked liked a clamshell style cd player. Ancient technology these
days.
I had one for a short while.
The controls were not intuitive in my recollection.
