Oops, I did omit one important detail, if you want to be able to directly mount an ISO file under Windows 7 you would need a third party utility to make that happen.

You'd be better off following those instructions, but instead creating bootable media (which you won't need to boot from), and running setup.exe from it, instead.  You can find instructions for creating that bootable media at the beginning of this tutorial, and it's only the media creation part you need to do before going back to the simpler in-place upgrade instructions once you've made it:  Doing a Completely Clean (Re)install of Windows 10 Using Media Creation Tool to Create Bootable Win10 Install Media on a USB Thumb Drive

I am not telling you to do a completely clean install from beginning to end.  But that instruction set tells you, step-by-step, how to use the Media Creation Tool to create bootable USB media.
