Look through the options in the insert v menu. See if there is something about reporting errors or java script errors or something similar. If so, turn it off if its on. You are probably hearing errors reported in the JAVA script used in the messages when they open.

error or 3 erros, sort of arbitrarily. Anyone knoe what I
