I am reading books I get from my bookshare account. So I download the books in brf format as I also use my braille note to read the books too. So I unzip the book and send it to k1000. The downloaded file is a brf format and k1000 converts them to txt files. So I really cant share the file, as that would violate my bookshare agreement. But if anyone has a book share account, you can download the books as a brf file and convert them to txt file format threw k1000. That is all I do to read txt files. I have been reading them with j2018 because it does not announce page breaks and I do not have to do anything accept to tell jaws not to read page breaks. I also use vo off my ipad and it to does not announce page breaks. It just takes more steps to bring the file over from my dropbox and read it with my app of the ipadd. I have been trying to use updated screen readers as some day jaws2018 will not work anymore soon. I still do not know the real reason why jaws2018 does not announce page breaks while every other windows screenreader does even when you have set to not announce them in the preference settings. I have been trying to take all the advice sent to me and it has not completely worked on my end. I even had a friend try too and they could not get the screenreader to stop announcing page breaks when reading txt files.

So I do not know what the code is used to make these files turn from brf to txt from k1000 That makes page breaks be put in them.
