Ok, will see how that does.i will most likely  be looking at an I phone as I currently have an  Android device.most of all the gps  apps, lately are going in the  I oS direction before they come to  the android direction.is it better  to  have both platform if one can afford it.

Nearby Explorer has been replaced by Goodmaps, which is also free. Lazarillo is also free and Blindsquare is also good, costing $39.95.
