Here is one way to send a message privately in Thunderbird.

Open the message. Tab once. Shift tab perhaps six or seven times. You
will get to a field that says from, then you hear the address and then
submenu is spoken.
Open the context menu, down arrow to compose message to. Press enter and a

message will open addressed to the [person who sent the message.
Some people may say you can simply be on the message in the message list,
open the context menu, find the reply to sender and press enter. This is
not reliable. it may work on some lists, depending on how they are set up,

but it won't work on a lot of them. I gave a reliable method. I'm not
saying it’s the only one but it is reliable and the other method is about
the same in terms of efficiency.

I was playing with this a bit and it appears that when the new message
opens, you may be in the message body edit field. Try shift tabbing to the
subject line.
Also, you may have to press enter twice. The first time may place you in a
submenu and the second press of enter will open the message if you are
placed in a submenu.

But neither of these things may happen. Just be aware that they may.

Here is how to reply to the sender using Windows Live Mail.
Open the message. Tab once. Then shift tab a number of times. You will
get
to a button that says contact's name then gives the name and address and
then says right click to interact with this contact.
Open the context menu and you will find in the menu an item that says "Send
message." Press enter and a new message with the address of the sender
will
open.

Lots of people do this. I want to take the moment to encourage people to
learn to write privately to people if they don't know how. Toward that
end,
I'll explain later today, how to do this in Windows Live Mail and
Thunderbird. As is so often the case, there is more than one way to do
this
in a lot of e-mail programs. Others may prefer other ways.

Hi all,

Right, my bad. Should have realized that. It's a "duh" moment. Sorry,
