Re: dropbox blues

Hi  Chris,

That  pretty well sums it up.

I thought the program was installed because it was in the msconfig startup list.

Gene Asner suggested that the program was not really installed.

So I typed the name in the start search and chose yes when questioned by  install checker.

Then dropbox showed up in the notification area.

I had a similar issue a while back. I finally uninstalled drop box, then reinstalled it, linked up again and all was well.

Subject: [TechTalk] dropbox blues

Hi List,

Here is the picture;  I  have win10 20h2, current version of nvda and chrome.

I cannot upload anythingto dropbox.

This may have happened around new years; not sure.

Dropbox is set to run at startup and to appear in the notifications area.

It does not show in the notifications area. I find the dropbox folder in the “user folder” on my C drive.

It does not show up in File Explorer.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Monte
