OK, I may have missed part of this thread but I have just one question.

Is this problem specific to NVDA or does it occur also with Jaws?

Why the hell did they do it that way?  Here is a simpler fix that Microsoft gave me.  it is working fine.  follow the below instructions.

How to disable updates in Office:

1. Open any Office apps.

2. Go to File tab and down to account

3. Tab to check for updates

4. disable updates

5. relaunch Outlook

Role back instructions.

1.            Close the Outlook.

2.            Open elevated command prompt and type below comman

To open command prompt do windows R and type cmd and press enter.  d

3 type the following command:

cd %programfiles%\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\ClickToRun

4.            Type in:

officec2rclient.exe /update user updatetoversion=16.0.13901.20462

This will role you back to the April version.

HI Lists,

Please excuse the cross post.

This may be of interest  for  some outlook users.

2 or 3 days ago, the autofill function in outlook 2016 stopped working on my win10 pc with nvda.

This afternoon, I called the micro soft disability help desk;    and the case worker said it was a known problem that is being worked on.

We  used the quick assist feature  of win10 and the problem is currently resolved  with a rollback of office I think.. It took more than an hour and “regedit” was used.

May your autofill be  just right.

Cheers,

Monte
