Re: Learning the meanings of audio affects and parameters when recording

Hello,
If such a resource were available somewhere, it would be awesome!
One can learn lots of things just by checking the Audacity help and
documentation, but there are very abstract
Descriptions of some terminology. I have found answers to some questions I
had in the Audacity forums, but
Nothing similar to a practical demo or a down-to-earth instruction to do
specific things. I guess skillful people
That are really into audio editing, sometimes not always, get caught up in
a tangled maze of terminological verbiage.

Best,

Subject: [TechTalk] Learning the meanings of audio affects and parameters
when recording

Hi,

Does anyone know of a good resource that explains the various terms for
recording audio, such as with Audacity, with audio demo clips, and how to
use them? Duplication is an example, though someone did show me personally.

Thanks,
