How do I reply to the person who sent the response to that individual instead of the group? Thanks, nancy

Sending a private message using Thunderbird
Gene
Since the topic of how to send private messages to list members has come
up, I did a little experimentation and I found what may well be the easiest way
if you are using Thunderbird. Do the following:
Open the message from the person you want to reply to.
Shift tab once. You will either be on a link or you will hear
nothing.
Either way, tab once.
You are on the from line.
Open the context menu.
You will see many items.
Press enter on the item that says something like send message to.
This will open a new message with the person’s address in the to line and
you will be on the subject line.

Re: how to get access to an IPad

What e-mail program are you using. Someone can tell you how to write
to people offlist.
Methods such as you are using often don’t work. Perhaps on some
lists, they might but on lists I’ve been on, which I think represent the
majority in terms of how they are set up, such techniques don’t. But there
are reliable ways to do this.

Re: A problem connecting BrailleNote Touch Plus

Hi Abbie, I actually wrote to Humanware and got very detailed instructions
how to pair and now I'm connected. Now my question is how do you
get out of it without unpairing? Also is there a list that is
devoted to the Touch Plus? Thanks.

I don't know if there is a way to reset it if she doesn't know the apple ID and PW or not.

Group,
I have a good friend whose Mom passed away unexpectedly last year. In going through her things she found an I Pad that is fairly new, but she can not gain access to it. What must my friend do to be able to gain access to this almost new IPad? Thanks for your help and advice. nancy

No, it's simply an e-mail address that no longer
exists. Nothing in the outbox and this has been going on for weeks.

using Thunderbird
Madison Martin
Hi all,
So I decided to download Thunderbird since it's free and it seems to be popular among screen reader users and also for when I eventually move out in case I can't afford an Office 365 subscription. I was able to access my gmail account, but I haven't done anything else yet. So for those of you who use it with Jaws, what do I need to know about using Thunderbird with Jaws? Is there a list of keystrokes? I'm used to using Outlook, what are the differences and similarities between Outlook and Thunderbird? Are there any mailing lists for Thunderbird users? I'm not sure I want to give up Outlook, but I'd still like to know how to use Thunderbird. Using latest versions of Jaws and Windows 10. Any help/info/suggestions/tips anyone can provide are very much appreciated!!!!!!! Thanks Madison
