important is just a flag for people to send you an email to get your attention or need your attention which is mark, important.
Gmail email can be in important and also in all mails as its just label and not folder if you compared with imap.

To Carolyn and Gene,

Yes, I have used shift delete several times.  In fact, I
used that method earlier, ate dinner, and just now checked
the Draft folder; all the usual e-mails are back in the
folder.

I have also used Control-Shift-B to get to the address book,
and the same addresses are there as when I use Control-3.  I
think I need to find out where autocomplete addresses are
stored.

I am using an IMAP account.  Also with Outlook, received
e-mail is found in the Inbox and then another folder called
Important, so one has two copies of received e-mails which
can add up quite fast.

Veronica

Veronica, have you tried Shift Delete for Drafts?

As for your contacts, have you tried Control+Shift+B to get
to your address book and go through them? HTH.

Subject: [TechTalk] Questions Concerning Outlook

Hello Everyone,

I am using outlook 2013 on my windows 7 computer.  Whenever
I delete the items in the Draft folder, and I check the
folder later, those same e-mails have returned.  Is there
any way to permanently delete the e-mails in the Draft
folder?

Another issue I have is that when I use Control-3 to read my
contact list, only about eight contacts are listed, and
these are contacts I don't use that often.  However, when I
am sending an e-mail message and use Control-N, contacts
appear depending on which letter the contact started with.
When using this method, there are quite a few contacts that
I would like to delete, but I have not figured out a way to
do so.

I have had these issues for quite a while, and as I am
quickly running out of disk space, I am trying to delete as
much as possible from my computer.
Thanks for any help.

Veronica

Re: Reading BRF files on the computer

The very early versions of the Duxbury Braille translator produced .brf files that you could send to your embosser.  All they are is ASCII text files containing translated Braille.  They can be read by any text editor.  This would include NotePad, WordPad, Jart, or even a word processor.  Ideal to read on a Braille display.  However, if you have your screen reader/Braille display set to grade 2, you could get some strange results.

QRead will read .pdf files if they are text.  If they are image files, I think I think they need to be scanned with an OCR program.

The eye note app is free in the app store. Just download it and allow the
app access to your camera when prompted. Eye is spelled e y e.

Seeing AI also has it's own currency identifier, but eye note is much
faster.

Yes, Pam,

It isindeed subjective. I was just trying to giv e an idea of what6
inches, not an exact measurement.
It is like the height of a horse is measured in hands; in this case the
width of a hand which is established at four inches.
So a pony could be 14 hands high, while a jumper could be 16-17 hands high.
A large percentage of hands are probably about 2-3 inches wide.

OK, it's hands off from here.

Actually, I find the eye note app on the iPhone much more efficient than the
eye bill.
It also tells you whether you are looking at the front or back of the bill.
You just open the app and hold the phone about six inches above the bill and
that is it.

Olusegun -- Victory Associates LTD, Inc.

Gerald, my Shiny Android toys have a back and front camera. When using the
toy I schlep around, I use the back camera; in that wise, I lay it face
down, then wave the bill to be identified at it and there's an instant
readout. If I happen to be in a poorly lit environment, the flash comes on
automatically and I still get the same readout.

I do not engage in bill identification publicly for all of the reasons
stated; this is why I keep hoping that tactile markings will come to the
dollar bill in my lifetime! I thought court orders are meant to be
followed; why is it taking the Department of Treasury and the Bureau of
Printing & Engraving so long to come up with something? Bumps, dots, et al?
Is a second court order needed to force compliance? This enquiring mind
sure wants to know a thing, two or three!

Sincerely,
Olusegun

Re: Google Appearing To Be Blocked On Laptop

try this, it wont harm anything.
on your pc, go to c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc
find the file called hosts and copy it to clipboard.
on your dads pc go to
c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc and replace the file i hope it lets you replace.
then open a command prompt or powershell and type.
ipconfig /flushdns
and see if he can access google.
if he can access google, then you need to run a malware scan as
something is modifying the hosts file
