Re: A very useful command in Thunderbird

I didn't mention that the first time you use the command, a dialog comes up asking if you want to move to the next unread message.  As you continue to use the command, the dialog no longer appears.

Yes it is. Though I believe you'll just use default payment if you do one click checkout.

Did you mistakenly write the full message in the subject line? Some
programs won't read the full subject line if it is too long. I'll
therefore say that the question asked is how to reset a Brilliant
Braille display.

comments on my new versaslate

Josh Kennedy <joshknnd1982@...>

Hi,

This will be of interest for those on the list who read and write braille. I just got my new versaslate from www.atguys.com … I did Not get the mini, I got the full size one. The versaslate is a paperless refreshable braille slate and stylus. It has 4 lines of 20 cells. I hope they sell the versa-note in the future which will let me put multiple versa slates together for writing more stuff. The braille is like that on the orbit reader20. Feel free to ask more on list.

Re: rearranging folders in Thunderbird

Gene

There is an add-on called manually sort folders in Thunderbird.  The explanation gives so little information that I don't know what it does.  Sort usually means alphabetize.  Here, perhaps the person means arrange as desired.  But no mention is made about whether you can move a folder from one account to another.  I doubt it.  Any sorting would, I would think, be limited to the account where the folder is.  But I haven't used it so I am not saying that as more than a guess or opinion.

You may be able to do at least some of what you want if you get sighted help to tell you what the buttons do.  for example, one may be a move up and another may be a move down button.  You may want to find out what they do before using them, or you may want to see what the buttons do by experimenting.  One button may automatically reorganize columns and you may not want that.

I didn't assume what you knew or didn't know about first letter navigation.  I said what I did because a lot of people don't know you can use more than the first letter when moving.  Also, the way the add-on description mentioned using more than one letter may not have been clear.  At times, I give information even if I think the person knows it because others may well be reading the thread and I don't want to assume what they know.

You can move from folder to folder even if they are different accounts.  You aren’t restricted when you move to the account you are in.

As far as I know, the only add-on that does what you want is an NVDA add-on.  There is a Thunderbird add-on that provides first letter navigation in the folders treeview.

Is the add on for moving folders manually accessible and does it work well?

Re: Apple Music on android

I do.
Accessibility point of view with talkback, should be 90% similar ith IOS.

You have more option like where you want to download your music to if you have SD card support device

but, let me tell you one experience with it.
it will popup and ask you to sign in to itune account once a while

other than that above, it works well in android.

Re: Business email addresses

I have manage or setup multiple domain into google app, changeto G-suite and now workspace.
You just need to change your mx records to send your email into your mailbox
You do not need ftp server  website or whatever fancy things yo ucan do with your own DNS records

My own, as well. I just redirect  to wordpress or some sort of shopping cart.
It will cost you $50 to $100 yearly just for the domain
$6 for google workspace monthly at least . for 30gb and more features
You are looking at $172 just to have your business domain.com on google workspace

It might be cheaper if you get the domain through google workspace but hey, this is the cost involve here.

If you want more you pay a few dollars monthly and you get 100gb if I remember that correctly.

I don’t know if this is related to technology, but please forgive me. I have noticed that some businesses use a Gmail address instead of a professional email address, like info@.... I understand that some businesses can’t afford Google workspace or other professional email because of their budget, but with cPanel, you get free email accounts. My question is, what do you think of businesses using Gmail accounts as their business name, like businessname@...? In my opinion, if they have a professional domain, they should have a professional email address.
