Thanks for this, Gene. I've also discovered that this command will also work in an open message. Thunderbird will advance to the next unread message and open it.

That is very odd. Amazon takes all forms of creditcard, and also allows you to use the checking account.

Hi,

There should be a payment method selection button. Clicking it should give you a list. Or a button that has the name of card and last four on it.

i have had a problem with Amazon taking one of my cards. I called the credit card company and they told me that there is nothing wrong with the card, but when a merchant wants to charge to their card, there are a few questions that they ask, and Amazon is not willing to deal with the process, so the charge is declined. They say that the problem lies with Amazon.

When in the Check out process, under heading 2, there is a button to "Change payment method". That will take you to the area which contains all the payment options you have set up in the account and even a link to add a new credit card.

Once the methods are set up, each method will have a radio button. Select the method you want and then go to the "use this method and it will then use whatever card or type of payment you have selected.

Hi Ron,
I am having trouble putting this thing in to settings mode.  If I just pres and release the power button, of course it goes in to standby.  If I hold it to long, like you said, it wants to shut down.  A double tap only puts it in to stand by and brings it out again.  Any more tips as to how to get in to settings?  Thanks

Hi Kay,

I have a Brailliant BI-40.

Once the unit is turned on, double tap the power button to put the unit in settings mode. (this means a single finger momentary press of the power button. Do not hold the power button down at all or you will turn the unit off.) Then use the bars on the very front of the unit (left and right--on each end) to move from setting to setting. For each setting (where applicable) use the two inner bars (the two bars one position from the bars on the outer end) to select choices within each setting.

You should come to a braille display text that says: 'restore default settings.'  then double tap the power button again to go back to normal mode.

This issue is a bit shaky. Sometimes I have to push the double tap of the power button twice to get it into settings mode. I don't know why this is. Maybe it's my shaky old fingers.

Ron,
by double tap, I assume you mean two quick taps on the power button?  I ask this because you said something like a single finger momentary press and that is not a double tap.  I'm just clarifying things.  Thanks again.

Hey there, George, Brian Zolo here in Gahana, Ohio, how's it going, guy! One of the most accessible speech friendly uninstallers were reevo uninstaller version 1.95 which was the last truly accessible reevo uninstaller. Another option is the uninstall application in ccleaner but the reevo version 1.95 will do an awesome job of getting rid of everything when it uninstalls as it will also clean out registry entries, etc. Have a great day!
