Broken Or Recovered Email From Google Support
Mike B <mb69mach1@...>
Hi All,
I keep getting email that goes into the Junk
folder of my IMAP account from several people claiming to be from Google
Support. The emails all claim to have found broken or recovered email
& want me to click on a link to get them or click on a different link if
I would like to quit their service. Well, I'm not going to click on
any links within these emails & my question is, do any other list members
get these types of emails? Below are 4 different email adresses &
their info that I've copied from the various emails, From fields.
Users Support <detractionr9007@...>
Support <creekmore@...>
Notification Service <coescutcheon@...>
Google <giiunited@...>
Below are a couple lines of text I've copied out of a couple of these
emails:
2 Broken message has been restored and re-sent to you.
2 broken messages has been found and recovered.
Is there any way to stop this kind of spam all together? All input
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much.
Take care. Mike Global warming? Most likely caused from hot air generated by politicians!

Re: unpaid version outlook express 6

Hello Heather,
What version of Windows were you running on your
desktop? Outlook Express does not include a spellchecker by default and
the version for Windows 7 and later can be flakey in general so I have
stopped recommending it. You may be better off using another client like
Windows Live Mail or Thunderbird. There is a version of Windows Live Mail
without ribbons.

VR Stream Second Generation Questions: Here Goes
Ron Canazzi
Hi Group,
I received my VR Stream Second Generation yesterday and have been playing around with it. It seems to be functioning well and I have gotten used to many of the functions already. I do have one big problem. For whatever reason, I cannot get my WIFI configuration to work. I believe it has something to do with the password. When I do the search for wireless network routine, it sees my router. I select it and then confirm it and it asks me for my password. When I enter the password, it says that it cannot establish a connection. I went and reconfigured my wireless router and got a new key/password. Still I am unable to connect. I used the Humanware companion and created a log-in file which I transferred to the SD card. Then I went back into the configure wireless network and selected the 'choose configuration from a file' option but still no connection. Well that's about it. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be going wrong and what might be the solution? Thanks in advance for any help. -- Signature: They ask me if I'm Happy, I say "yes." Hello, I am trying to use outlook express six on my
win ten machine! It works great on my desktop but, not on my laptop! I
have reinstalled three times on my laptop and I used revo uninstaller but, it
keeps certain files because, my settings are not being deleted off the
laptop! The only problem is that it does not have a spell checker
installed on the laptop! My desktop has the spell checker when I install
outlook express six! I am using an e-mail program without ribbons for now till I
get my training in may! So is their a dictionary I should install for outlook
express six or is their another version of outlook express six I should
install! I remember there were two different versions at one time!
Thanks for any help! Heather

Re: Burning Audio CDs
Carlos
It supports Blu-ray data discs if that is what you mean. A video Blu-ray disc is basically just a data disc with files in a specific format so it might let you write a video Blu-ray disc. Although it certainly won't let you do anything with protected commercial Blu-ray discs.

around on it. When you open it, of course, it gives the time. Then it says, Left select Key messages; Middle key Menu; Right Select Key Contacts. If you hit the OK key for the menu, the following nine items appear: Contacts Messaging Recent calls Internet Media Center Mobile e-mail Apps my pictures Settings and tools Then you hit OK for one of those, Then push down on the lower part of that middle square to give options within the particular menu. So far, I have added a contact and edited another. I set up my greeting. I've had the thing a little over 24 hours. This weekend, when I have time, I'm going to call Verizon's 800 number for technical support to find out a few things. I want to make a careful list, so that I'll know exactly what to ask them, get it figured out with the least amount of their time. In the meantime, this weekend a girlfriend that just bought a Haven wants me to work with her on it. She's not as old as I am, but has had some strokes, so she has a harder time with these new electronics, if you want to call Haven new, because it is to her. The thing that I am appreciating about this phone is its battery stamina. We went back to the Verizon store, because we could not figure out how to read text messages. The lady that sold it, $4 a month, two years or $100, I'd rather pay $96 in two years, anyway, she looked on the net and saw that I had to hit the Left Select Key, then the Middle Key, then the speaker, and VOILA, it read the two messages that I had. I like that there is a tiny dot on the Send key and on the End Key, making them easy to identify. Like the Haven, it announces "battery charging" and "charge complete". Bye for now, Carolyn

Email Group Using Windows Mail.
Barb O'Connor
Carlos, you sent instructions on how to create an
email group using Windows Mail. I will paste them just to refresh your memory
just in case. What I want to know is, one of my group members has 2 email
addresses, one for phone and one for her computer. I have both email addresses
in my original contacts, of course, one is preferred. When I add her email
address to the group using my contact information, do both emails go into the
group? I can't seem to tell. If not, how would I get the correct contact email
address in there for her? Would I just have to manually copy it in or
something?
Thanks for any light you can shed on this little
problem.
Barb
Subject: Re: [BlindTech] help creating a
mailing group in windows mail
1. Open the "Run" dialog with WindowsKey+R and type wab /CreateGroup %UserProfile%\Contacts 2. In Windows Mail, open the contacts list either by using the Control+Shift+C shortcut or selecting "Windows Contacts" from the "Tools" menu. When the list opens, use your Jaws/review cursor to find "New Contact Group" on the toolbar and left click it. Either method will accomplish the same thing. Although the first may be more convenient. The "Properties" dialog should open for a new group. Type a name for the new group. Now you can add contacts to the group using any of the following methods. 1. Use the "Add to Contact Group" button to select from the list of existing contacts. 2. Select the "Create New Contact" button. 3. Type in a name and Email address and then select the "Create for Group Only" button. When you are done adding contacts, select the "OK" button to save the group and exit the "Properties" dialog.

Re: Amazon Raises Free Shipping Minimum to $49
Carolyn Arnold
The problem with UPS, is that it had my former address in its base. The first time that happened, Richard doubled checked his computer. His was right. The package was addressed right; yet it went to the old address. So, the second time, both Richard and I were aware of the problem, so he took special pains to see that it should come to this address; yet it did not. My husband saw the package both times addressed here on Richard's paper work nbut there on the UPS thing. I don't know what it will take to ever get them straight, but we track it, and we know right where it goes. If Pablo moves, I guess, we can make a new friend the next time I have work done on my Optacon.

So, after not being able to connect with him on skype for training I decided about 2 weeks after I had the phone to return it for a refund but it turns out I was a week too late for a refund. He also didn't make it clear when I purchased the phone that the time it took for me to get the phone was included in my possible return period or I would've known to make a quicker decision on whether I wanted to keep the phone. I give him credit in that he eventually did take the phone back and gave me a store credit, but I wasn't interested in anything else he had at the time so I ended up buying something I didn't want and then I turned around and sold that. I still didn't get the entire price of the phone back though. When I questioned him about the return policy afterward he claimed that all businesses handle returns the same way that he does, but I've talked to other people since then that disagree with him.
