Re: Going Back To Windows 7

Matt

No in about 4 years W7 is not going to be supported for at least the consumer side and then you will have to pay for W10 ! if you dual boot then you don't have to do that. You can set W7 as your default OS so you don't have to choose one . Why pay for something when you don't have to!

I thought that I read that you can't do this. Thanks for any reply.

Matt, while a dual boot configuration is useful, you should keep in mind that it is probably beyond most member's technical capabilities to set up conveniently without assistance.

I don't know about the other but (Eloquence you cannot do this legally by using the one from jaws. Now you can buy (Eloquence add on for Nvda if you wish which is legal but there is no way to use jaws (Eloquence legally with NVDA.

Of course you can. If it is a restore disc, then it should restore the machine to factory defaults. However, if it is simply a standard Windows 7 installation disc, you will need your product key. If you don't have your product key, it should be somewhere on the machine on the COA key sticker.

Re: queer restore issue?

Carlos

Since you don't have a password assigned, try leaving the password field blank and just pressing Enter to login. If that works, you can use the following steps to remove the login/password request screen.

1. Open the
"Run"
dialog by pressing Windos key R.

2. Type
control userpasswords2
and press Enter.

3. When the User Accounts dialog opens, uncheck the
"Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer."
checkbox.

4. Select the
"OK"
button.

5. You will be prompted to select your account and type your password. You can leave the password field blank and just select the
"OK"
button. If all goes as expected, you will no longer be prompted to enter a password the next time you reboot.

Somewhere in JAWS, there is a setting concerning using MSAA in list views, if I remember correctly.  You might try changing that setting when in CCleaner and having it only refer to that one program.  I'd have to look through various JAWS settings to try to find it but those who use JAWS regularly and are very familiar with the more obscure settings may already know.  While this settings change may not be necessary in general for users of this program, for some reason, it may solve your problem.

Thanks for the recommendation of AltaCast for streaming but how to bring listeners into a stream without use of expensive programs like VA Cable or SPL Studio which costs too much? Some of my people don't have the production equipment, much less a pc. All these things will be used with Windows 10 or some later version of Windows.

Winamp plug-in which is free and accessible. You don't bring listeners in using Winamp. Listeners have to access your stream via what ever server you are using to broadcast. Whether it be SHOUTcast or some other third-party server. If you are not familiar with these topics, you should do more research online. Setting up an online broadcast can be challenging if you don't know what you are doing.

So hi, guys.
It's Beth here. I need to get a few things in order:
First of all, I have winamp for broadcasting, but how exactly should I go about broadcasting with Winamp on Windows 10? Secondly, how should I bring listeners in and out of the stream with the same program?
The third thing is, are any of the recommended programs free and accessible? I know someone mentioned a Sound Window View, but now he can't tell me.
Please let me know. I'm managing a radio station that is about to be open and ready for producers.
And btw, any people who are real radioheads wanna join? Whether you produce or not, that is cool. But we need talented voices and good faces who can produce or not. If you can, let me know.

Re: default admin password for WI FI modems?

Matt

Hi, I have never reset the modem from the modem I know it can be done but
have no idea how to do it from the modem. I have reset the modem but it was
from the site 192.168.0.1 and reset the modem from there. So if you can find
the reset button on the modem then yes you should just have to hold it down
a few seconds till all the lights go out and then release the button and I
would think a count of about 10 to 15 should well do it
I would think the default user name and password would be admin in lower
case and the the password would be empty or just admin . you could try the
wordadmin in lower case then upper case. or just try leaving the password
field empty .

or is there a "logon" user name as well? This is for an action tech DSL

That is the default gateway/IP address for accessing the router interface. It has nothing to do with what default user name/password a particular model might use.
