F3 will launch the Outlook Instant search. F6 will place focus on items
found.

For those interested, Voipo also has an accessible PBX. The PBX is $20/month.

Hi,
If you want accessible voip services and not accessible softphones, Viatalk
from www.viatalk.com and Voipo from www.voipo.com are very accessible.

If you go to:
cp.viatalk.com and use demo for the user id and demo for the password you
can check out the back end for yourself. I don't think Voipo has this
feature.
Phonepower.com is also one that was accessible from my testing about a year
or so ago.

The product is very accessible though.

Hello list,

I’m in search of an accessible VOIP desktop client with Jaws as it is the
screen reader I’m using.

I’m currently using Skype and a Skype telephone number. My subscription
comes due in a few weeks and before I renew for another year, I wanted to
see if there was perhaps another option out there that is equal to or more
accessible than skype. I know there’s Vonage and I guess MagicJack and
grasshopper, but I’m also looking for something that I can use to take and
receive calls on a computer with all the regular functions like call
waiting, forwarding, voicemail, etc.

I’m a big time Google Voice user, but the one drawback is that there’s no
real way to easily answer/make calls from the computer with GV/Hangouts
and Jaws. I currently have my GV business line forward to my Skype number
where I can then manage incoming/outgoing calls.

Free or Paid is fine. I’m just looking for something that is reliable and
accessible.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Regarding fixing the broken WMP, first try rebooting your computer. Then try
running the system restore as others have suggested, and finally, try the

I'm sorry gene but you're wrong again. The F3 instant search is probably
much more powerful than the older find method you are suggesting because
searching from the F3 search box is faster and simpler once the user is
aware of it and learns how to use it. One can use F3 to search by all the
parameters you mentioned below and by email message headers, by attachment,
by size of attachment, by received (yesterday, last week, last month
etc)--the combinations are kind of breathtaking in scope and simplicity.

I said in my message that I don't use Outlook. As far as needlessly complex
is concerned, that is such a broad statement that it is misleading.
Evidently, your method only allow searching by name. Assuming the method I
described is available in Outlook, it allows you to search by name, and by
lots of other methods such as the text in the message body, and other
parameters I don't recall now. There are many times I want to search for a
word or phrase that I expect to be in the message body and not by the name
of the sender. I may not know who sent the message. I may not be sure of
how to spell the name of the sender.

f3 is not an initiate a find command. You may be able to get away with
using it, but where it performs a find, its purpose is to repeat a find, not
initiate a find. And it is for finding text in a document, not for finding
messages in an e-mail program.

Try using the command control shift f when you are in the folder list of
messages you wish to search. In other words, if you are in the inbox list
of messages, try that command. I don't have word. But there is a good
chance a dialog will open. Tab around it and write what you are looking for
in the appropriate field or fields. Then start the search. If you tab far
enough, you may see a search button. The results, if any, will show in a
list of messages you can up and down arrow in, open and read.

Subject: [TechTalk] Jaws accessible VOIP service/desktop client

Hello list,

I’m in search of an accessible VOIP desktop client with Jaws as it is
the screen reader I’m using.

I’m currently using Skype and a Skype telephone number. My subscription
comes due in a few weeks and before I renew for another year, I wanted
to see if there was perhaps another option out there that is equal to or
more accessible than skype. I know there’s Vonage and I guess MagicJack
and grasshopper, but I’m also looking for something that I can use to
take and receive calls on a computer with all the regular functions like
call waiting, forwarding, voicemail, etc.

I’m a big time Google Voice user, but the one drawback is that there’s
no real way to easily answer/make calls from the computer with
GV/Hangouts and Jaws. I currently have my GV business line forward to
my Skype number where I can then manage incoming/outgoing calls.

Free or Paid is fine. I’m just looking for something that is reliable
and accessible.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can download it here,

but you might want to consider trying System Restore to resolve the issue first.

Hi,
Expresstalk from nch is accessible.
The issue I had with it was the lag. I couldn't ever get it to work
acceptably, the lag was quite bad.
The product is very accessible though.
Tried it with two voip services.

f3 is not an initiate  a find command.  You may be able to get away with using it, but where it performs a find, its purpose is to repeat a find, not initiate a find.  And it is for finding text in a document, not for finding messages in an e-mail program.

Try using the command control shift f when you are in the folder list of messages you wish to search.  In other words, if you are in the inbox list of messages, try that command.  I don't have word.  But there is a good chance a dialog will open.  Tab around it and write what you are looking for in the appropriate field or fields.  Then start the search.  If you tab far enough, you may see a search button.  The results, if any, will show in a list of messages you can up and down arrow in, open and read.

Re: How to search for e-mail Outlook 2007?

Jeremy <jeremy.richards7@...>

I'm sorry gene but you're wrong again. The F3 instant search is probably
much more powerful than the older find method you are suggesting because
searching from the F3 search box is faster and simpler once the user is
aware of it and learns how to use it. One can use F3 to search by all the
parameters you mentioned below and by email message headers, by attachment,
by size of attachment, by received (yesterday, last week, last month
etc)--the combinations are kind of breathtaking in scope and simplicity.

Evidently, your method only allow searching by name. Assuming the method I
