Since my JAWS update, JAWS will not read an address character by character. I have to route JAWS to PC, even if I copy it. Sometimes it does not copy. Anyone know a setting I can use to alter that? Using Windows 10, Outlook 2013, and the very last JAWS update.

Or it might be more appropriate to say that wehn
performing an upgrade, the latest official release will always be
installed.

Re: is there a way to see if your windows 10 lap top has the anivercery update or if you are still wating for it?
Carlos
1. Press Windows key+R to open the
"Run" dialog. 2. Type
winver followed by Enter. If the version number is 1607 then you have been updated. When performing an upgrade, the latest version
should always be installed.

The bar goes across the front, and rails are on each side - would not have one without rails. If that were unobtainable, I'd go forever without a treadmill. I've had motorized and regular, prefer just plain regular treadmill. Right now, no room in apartment for one.

Re: TREADMILL WITH TACTILE BUTTONS
Gerald Levy
The reason why a manual treadmill might not be suitable for a tall user is that the deck is rrelatively short, about 42" in length, which would make it somewhat difficult to walk or jog for someone with a long stride. But because I'm on the short side, about 5'5", it works very wellfor me. If you can find a manual treadmill with a long deck, then it might work for a taller person. Another advantage of a manual treadmill that I neglected to mention in my previous message is that it is safer than a motorized treadmill, especially for a blind user who has difficulty walking or jogging without holding on to the hand rails. On a manual treadmill, the belt only moves when you move and stops when you stop. So there is no danger of flying off the back of the machine if you let go of the hand rails as on a motorized treadmill.

Re: TREADMILL WITH TACTILE BUTTONS
Walter Ramage
Hi. Some treadmills only have a bar or hand grip in front of you so you need to hold on with your arms stretched out in front to hold it. Others, normally the domestic type have a rail or arms either side of the running deck at about waist level and you can hold them as you walk (this is a more natural posture). When I used to go to the gym the treadmills had a bar or two grips in front and I found that a bit tiring after walking for an hour. In the Gym I used the treadmills were crammed together with little space between and a treadmill with arms on either side made the machine wider than the treadmills without and would have taken up more space in the gym. Walter.

I did have a Haven in the past but it's bin a few years ago. I'll be looking for the attachment. -----Original Message----- From: Carolyn Arnold Sent: Friday, August 12, 2016 8:42 PM To: main@TechTalk.groups.io Subject: Re: [TechTalk] LG Revere 3 I don't remember if the manual does. I did not mention, that the middle button is sort of square, and the top and bottom and sides function like the little dotted arrows on a Haven, if you've ever had one of those. I haven't used the calculator. The Revere is way trickier to talk as much, more so than the Haven was. However, it is way more battery dependable. Sure is hard to get it all, isn't it? I'll send the attachment off line. That’s a start. Does the manual tell the locations of buttons other than the ones you've mentioned? -----Original Message----- From: Carolyn Arnold Sent: Friday, August 12, 2016 5:40 PM To: main@TechTalk.groups.io Subject: Re: [TechTalk] LG Revere 3 I don't have a Pod cast but: Top Left used mostly for message reading (you'll need to turn on speaker when you open text). Also you use it, if you want an answered call to go to Voice Mail. Right top, Options menu. Middle square, regular menu. The speaker button is right under the right top button and above the End/ power on/off. Send is right above the 1. Above the 2 is the delete, but if you hold it down long enough, you get Voice Command. I have a manual and can send it to you off list if you want that. I didn't exactly struggle learning my Android phone, but it wasn't a walk in the park either. I like it a lot, but I still type using my external braille display keyboard. I would definitely prefer a dumb phone with only a send and end button and no convoluted menus, like we used to have. But those no longer exist. Still, you can do a lot of things with your smart phone, once you get the hang of it.

Re: Importing From filezilla
Carlos
There really isn't much to it. TO export, select
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
"Export" from the "File" menu, enable the checkboxes for the items you want to export, select the "OK" button, then choose a file name and location where you would like to save the file. To import, just select "Import" from the "File" menu and choose the file from which to import the settings.
