Hi CARLOS,
Well. What can I say? While waiting for your reply, I did log it in, and everything worked as expected. However, when looking through help, I understood everything but control-Alt-6. Anyways, it's all working, I'm past the capcha. Thanks, once again.

After you create your account, use it to log in to the WebVisum service with
the plug-in. Then press Control Alt 6 on a page with a captcha. After
anywhere from 5 to about 30 seconds, assuming it was able to solve the
captcha, it will say that the result has been copied to the clipboard. You
can then use Control V to paste the result.

Thanks for that, about to log in. So now, how do I go about solving the
code challenge with it? LOL, no clues as to how you go about using it. I
think I recall control-v to paste the results, but not much else.

Hi Mike,
I believe you are thinking of the Logitech H800.
It does have a boom microphone and it covers the ears.

Hi All,

I think I'll be going with the iPhone SE model, & need some recommendations.  There has been a Logitech bluetooth headset, an 8100 or something similar, recommended  by our esteemed leader, & would someone please remind me of it's correct number?  Also, does this headset have a boom mike?  I would like a headset that covers the ear / ears, but doesn't poke into the ears.  Also, would y'all recommend a compact / portable qwerty keyboard that can fold or fit into a shirt pocket without folding?  All help will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks much.
Take care.

Re: remind me?

Gene

There are different ways.  One way is nvda key control v.  A dialog opens.  Tab once to rate.  left arrow to slow down speech right arrow to speed up speech.  Press enter when speech is at the rate you want.  To permanently save the change, issue the command NVDA key control c.

I can't imagine what technical difficulties unsubscribing would have anything to do with unnecessarily and overly dramatically announcing your departure. And yes that is the correct address.
main+unsubscribe@TechTalk.groups.io
will work as well.

Wh;y am I about to do as the subject line states? Because I've sent 6
messages to the correct unsub address, and they're never acted on. They
don't bounce back either.

This is a fascinating list with the best digest I've ever seen, but I need
to get off the train for a bit.

Maybe this is why some listers announce their departure with such fanfair.

After all that, hope I have it correct: <techtalk+unsubscribe@groups.io>

the responses may be going to your spam folder either on the web site of your e-mail program, showing up in a webmail spam folder, or going into a spam folder on your e-mail program on your machine.  Try my suggestion, discussed below, and if it doesn't work, let us know.  Instead of unsubscribing, try using the nomail command in the list below.  This message also describes how to

resume receiving messages.  if the commands don't work, I would imagine that Carlos or I can help you.  But it sounds as though you want to stop receiving messages with the option to start again and for that, going nomail is a far better option than unsubscribing and then resubscribing.

Gene

Here is a list of e-mail commands for performing common tasks such as going nomail and resuming delivery on TechTalk.  I will send them out from time to time.  it would be a good idea to save the list for future reference.

Note that if you go nomail and then want to resume delivery of individual messages, use the command
TechTalk+single@groups.io
If you want to resume receiving digests, use the command
TechTalk+digest@groups.io
There is no resume command per se.  These commands are used instead.

Here is the list, which starts below my signature.

This posting on how Microsoft micromanages email was very enlightening.
They're going way to far, making lots of trouble for users and making said
