No.  It only works with windows 10.  I suspect that this had something to do with being able to being placed in the Windows Store.

I was able to use Jaws version 18 to buy from the store.  It's a bit tricky, but very doable.

Bought it with JFW 18. Don’t recall any issues. Signed in with my Microsoft account, had to enable the  PC cursor since for whatever reason the touch  keyboard was activated when the store launched and with the arrow keys navigated to the buy now option and followed the prompts to enter in my case my credit card and  that was it more or less.

The KNFBReader folks responded to a tweeted question of mine and they say that the OCR should be on the level with K1000 scanning results. The few PDF files I’ve received as faxes have indeed been quite impressive.

For Months I've had two PCS lying around idly because I couldn't repair their damage OS due to lack of sighted assistance. Yesterday, I bought myself 1 more license for Windows 10 and on my own, restored my other 2 computers, which now frees me to dedicate my MacBook pro solely for use for working in the MacOS environment. Which just goes to show the importance and power that Accessibility affords to us Blind folks. A big thank you from Singapore, Carlos.

Re: can anyone give me a refresher course on how to use winrar

Considering that Send Space may not be safe for free users because it has had infected advertising in the past, and because the changes in Drop Box don't in any way preclude sharing, it's better to continue to use Drop Box.  Also, at times, files disappear from Send Space.  This may not happen to a lot of files but it happens.  All you have to do to share files on Drop Box after public links are dropped is to go to whatever folder your files are automatically moved to, go down the list, and create shared links for the files you want to share.  I've hardly done this but my recollection is that the procedure is almost identical to getting links for files in the public folder.  You open the context menu when you are on a file In the list, find share and press enter.  A link is automatically placed on the clipboard.  Paste the link wherever you want.  Change the zero at the end of the link to a 1 and you have a link that will open a file download, just as public links did.

If anyone has problems downloading this file, would you please let me know?  I'm new to using Send Space for sharing, & need some practice.

Since they are youtube tutorials, they probably use all or almost all mouse procedures.  While you may want to listen, since winrar is already installed and since you want to know how to do one thing and since mouse commands are almost certain to be almost exclusively used, I wouldn't follow this route.  in addition, the first step in the procedure has nothing to do with winrar.  You must know how to rip cds first.  The procedure may vary depending on the version of Windows you are using or on the ripping program you are using.  We need to know if you know how to rip cds and if you already know how to zip files such as documents or mp3 files or whatever format you want to use using Winrar.

First, you have to rip the CD to standard files such as mp3.  Do you know how to do that?  Then you use winrar or whatever program you wish to zip the mp3 or whatever format files.  I don't use Winrar and can't tell you how to zip with that program.
