I don't use signatures and I have done almost no experimentation.  If you weren't given a choice, I expect it will be present in all accounts.  It's easy enough to find out.  Send a message to each of your accounts using the other account to send the message.  In other words, if you have a GMail account send a message to your other account using the GMail account.  And do the same thing with the other account.  Send a message to your GMail account using the other account.

Most RF headsets which power the transmitter from the USB port have very limited range as well.  For better range, you want ones which have an independently powered transmitter like these.

Subject: Re: [TechTalk] fancying up my emails

Adding signatures to something like GMail used as webmail with a browser only adds the signature when you are using the browser.

If you want a signature for your e-mail that you send from a program like Windows Live Mail. add a signature in Windows Live Mail.

Are you using the ribbon version or the menu version?

Gmail.com is quicker, at least for me because I do not use wlm. However, when you create a signature on gmail.com, that signature will only show up when you used the web based email.  Someone can correct me if I am wrong, though.

I’m using basic html view, btw.

1.click settings after signing into gmail.com

2.

Search for the word signature.

3. After the word signature, you can down arrow and you will hear (appended at the end of all outgoing messages) which you can check or not check.  Obviously, if you uncheck the first option, no signature will appear.  An edit box is after that where you can type your signature or paste the text you’d like. When that is done, navigate to the save button and press spacebar.

Google voice questions again

Taylor Arndt <taylorarndt99@...>

Hi a while ago I asked about Google voice on this list. Today I finally decided that I want to set up Google voice. I go on the Google voice site. And try to set up my account. Well I get to the step please choose to your Google number. So I tried to find a a Google number but there are no numbers available in my area code. I don't want to port my mobile phone number because I heard that your cell phone plan will end? What do I do?

Re: Olympus md-620 one more time

Aidan <aidan.smarttalk@...>

Hi bil. I try my best.
The free buttons below the display are function buttons.
From left to write they are: f1, menu, and f3. On other models, the
middle key is f2, but on the 620 its menu.
The f1 key is used for section repeat. So while you playing a file,
you would press it once you rich the point at where you want a part to
be repeated. Then you let play the file furder, or forward fru the
file, til you rich the point where you want the end mark to be, then
press f1 again. Then it will keep repeating the passage between the
marks you just set. To cansel the repeat, you either skip to the next
file, or press the f2 button. It might also work to press stop to
cansel it.
The main use for the f2 button is for inserting bookmarks. These marks
are useful but they not permanent and you can only make up to 99 of
them, and they cannot be transferred or viewed in audio editer
software on a pc, such as you can with zoom recorders. The menu button
in the middle will bring up the main menu, but that will only work
with speech once the unit is in stop moad.

realize that the speaker is in the back, hmmm, that's interesting. No
wonder i had a hard time listening to the words coming from it.
I have to say that I really like the fact that the unit lets you know

It has the capability to go on the internet, you can also get bard, book share, NFB and podcasts and internet radio and that is just some of the things you can do with that particular model. I am not sure but I think I have the latest model but I can be wrong I also had the original one and I used it so much that I broke the power button I love my victor reader stream I think it is the greatest thing in the world and I would be so lost without it. I don’t know if any of this will be of any help to you.

Mike -

I have the first one on that list and absolutely love it. Frankly, I'm not familiar enough with the other devices to make any kind of intelligent features comparison, but you probably ought to go to the Humanware web site and check out details on each unit:

Hi All,

I'm thinking about getting a Victor Reader & I'm wanting to know which is the best 1 to get.  I did a search on Amazon & they showed the 3 different ones below:

 Victor Reader Stream New Generation

HumanWare Victor Reader Stratus12 M Daisy MP3 player

DeRoyal Victor Reader Stream - New Generation

All input would be greatly appreciated.  I'm not concerned about the price but, just want to get the 1 that gives you the most bang for the buck.  Thanks much.

Take care.

Are cordless phones illegal in the UK?  If not, then I doubt that these would be illegal since they have comparable range to some cordless phones.

Most RF headsets which power the transmitter from the USB port have very limited range as well.  For better range, you want ones which have an independently powered transmitter like these.

Hi, I am looking for some cordless headphones but not Bluetooth because of the limited range and lag.  I don’t need to have a microphone on them but would like a good range either fry type or wifi ones.

stereo and reasonable quality would be good.

Mark, I have some made by Senheiser, that work well.  I can take them outside and still get a good signal.

Hi Gene,
You said . . .
Open Winamp and then open preferences with control p.

Press home.

Down arrow until you get to playlists.

Tab until you get to a checkbox that says manual playlist advance. Uncheck it with the space bar if it is checked. Press escape to close preferences. there is no ok button and changes take immediate effect.

Many thanks for this, I've done as you've said, and I'm sorry that I'm so late at the gate here.

Hi Andrew,
Ok, so if I only want to play between 2 to 5 songs, can I simply highlight them and hit enter? If not, is it easy to make a list on the fly? If so, what do you do to do this?
Bill K.
