Re: mixer

have you looked at the apogee duet, Tascam IU2,
or Fostex AR-4i?
the first 2 are audio interfaces for the iPhone, both of which have microphone capability, the third is a dedicated microphone interface for the iPhone.
there are also some very nice stereo microphones for the iPhone, such as the Tascam iM2, Rode iXY, Zoom iQ6, or iQ7.
hope this helps.

Hi, as for as hooking a microphone to the iPhone one that would be a table top I think I have gave this up as there is no real solution for this hooking one directly to the iPhone. There is for iPad but not really for iPhone. So the only way I see to really do what I want is to use a mixer . then I could hook the iPhone to the mixer and a microphone to the mixer and even a head set for monitoring and do it that way.

So my question is now do any of you all out there recommend a mixer ?

Thanks,

I don't know what happens if you are using an IMAP account. In a pop
account, turning off the filter should stop all mail from going into the
junk folder. But if you are using an IMAP account, I don't know if my
suggestion applies. What are you using? If you are using a pop account,
then there is still filtering being done by the e-mail program.

Why not turn off all filtering in your e-mail program and see if you
benefit from filtering? I don't use any filtering. My e-mail provider,
as do most e-mail providers, uses it's own spam filter and almost all
spam is blocked before it is even downloaded to my machine. You may save
yourself from fooling around with this problem and still get so little
spam that there is no reason to do your own filtering.

Others may wish to comment on what I say in this message. I'm
speculating, but I think these points may be useful.

Your e-mail program may be set to automatically try to unsubscribe from
spam. If so, this should be turned off. You may be unintentionally
telling spammers that yours is a live address. If so, that may mean you
will get more spam. you should never respond to spam, automatically or
otherwise. I don't use Outlook and if it is Outlook that is doing this,
I can't advise on how to check the settings.

Aside from that, when you tell your e-mail program to allow something
using an approved senders list, you may be approving the address that is
in the from line. That is not the list address. It may be that if you
tell the program that it is not spam, you may be approving mail from the
list. I don't know if that is the case but try working with spam using
the spam or junk, whichever you have, settings and see if that solves the
problem.

Lol, sorry I didn't know how to word the subject appropriately to
explain
what I'm aboot to mention here.
2 times now I have been removed from this list due to me marking it as
spam, which I am not intentionally. I've noticed that when emails go
into the junk folder from this list is when I get removed.
I've added the email address to my safe senders list, but at 8:55 when
Jesica submitted an email to the list, bam, I was removed.

Yes, it's easy to click the link and resume your subscription but that
is
unnecessary when I am doing what I can to stop emails from going into the
junk folder. For the record, just in case one needs to know it's me using
outlook 2013.

Yes, I could see the funny side. But from a performance point of view, it left a bit to be desired!

One blind friend told me that Skype chat wasn't very accessible. I found it ok, once you got the hang of tabbing to and fro. But if a Microsoft support person who works at these things can screw up, well then, it can happen to anyone using Skype chat!

Well, I had to ask! LOL. The session ended well for both of us, though. When he finished, he asked me to 'please do the survey that appears after you close the chat." One of the questions they asked was, "How did you rate your experience of support?" Then you were asked to comment on your support experience! I'd say there's a shortage of personnel working on the support forums, so they will get their lines crossed from time to time.

Marcia go to MLB.com and look for game day audio. You have to subscribe, but
it's only $19.95 per year. And as for the play offs, they'll be on TBS and
ESPN, and the world series will be on Fix. Jim

hi,
I solved the issue of some apps not updating as well is microsoft edge not working.
Apparently windows firewall must be enabled for app updates and microsoft edge to work correctly.
hope that this helps someone else having the same problem.
