Ah, that's neat. I wasn't aware that apple would actually unlock the
device for you before it was payed off. that wasn't the case when I
purchased my device from them a few years ago. When I purchased my 5
from them and it was locked to my carrier at the time, I had to get
the unlock through the carrier.

That's definitely good to know though and thanks bunches for sharing. Take care.

Hello,
I have some files to convert and have downloaded Pazera. I figure I'm supposed to name the file to convert and tell the program where the output file should be. Problem is that the program runs and there are no obvious fields. What must I do? Thank you very much. Joe Giovanelli

Re: getting I phones
Jeremy <icu8it2@...>
Did you not previously suggest that he might could visit an apple store and purchase an unlocked device that he could take to the carrier of his choice? It was then that Lenron suggested that you might also be able to purchase an unlocked device from Ebay or Amazon at which time I said that we had done so and had good luck with it. Please pay closer attention to the entire thread, including the messages you post yourself.

Had I been trying to suggest that you could get a Device on Amazon that was locked to a Carrier for any period of time and that it might or might not be cheaper than purchasing the same device from apple, I would have said so in my message, but I clearly stated that we had purchased an unlocked device. My apologies if the meaning of the message wasn't clear for you and if it caused you confusion, but it was meant more so to suggest that perhaps he might be able to find the same unlocked device for a cheaper price than he would get from Apple. If things still aren't clear for you, well, I'm not sure what else to tell you.

If it is a card, the chances are that it is
formatted as FAT32 or exFAT. This problem is caused because unlike the
NTFS file system, FAT32 and exFAT cannot store alternate data streams. The
loss of such properties will not damage the files in question and it
is safe to proceed with copying. At most you might lose some
metadata. You can see what file system a particular drive is using by
highlighting it in Explorer, pressing Alt+Enter to access it's properties, and
reviewing the information with the JAWS cursor or equivalent.

It’s a shame that we as consumers can’t buy a computer that is not loaded with the bloatware that the manufacturers put on them. Actually you can buy one, but it costs something like a $100 premium for them to slip a clean hard drive into the assembly process. Ridiculous!

Hi. From experience, you shouldn't have installed Mcafie or AVG for that matter. The older versionds of the programs are easier to handle than the newer ones. For example, I tried a few weeks ago to stop AVG using the event manager, but I just couldn't. Even from the system tray, the shield could not be accessed. The same is true for Mcafie.

Hey Mike,
AS far as I know, you should be able to simply install the Dropbox application onto your wife’s computer then have her sign in using your credentials. I am not sure if there can be separate subaccounts to one Dropbox account. I have not used Dropbox in some time now. I am currently using external hard drives for my backupneeds.

Re: getting I phones
Michael Boyd <mike122061@...>
That is something that you would have to determine yourself. It depends on how much you think you would use the phone connected through the data plan. Considering that while you are at home, friends and family houses, you can stay connected to their home Wi-Fi network which uses no data, lessens the need for a certain amount of data. I only buy 1 GB per month because I rarely use my data, and what I do use is very limited. My plan also has roll over data, so what I do not use this month carries over and is added to next month’s 1 GB. Mostly, some of the apps I use require an internet connection, but I do not like to surf the internet on my phone as the experience is not the same as using a computer. I also live in a pretty rural area, so I do not use public transportation and rarely go into town when I am not with someone to act as my guide. There are however, people who use their phones for navigation and other informational and accessibility uses who use multiple GB of data per month.

Re: Question for JAWS 18 users
Michael Boyd <mike122061@...>
The person to whom you gave the version 17 to would have to purchase a JAWS license in order to legally use the program. This does not prevent you from installing it onto this persons computer and registering it. However, the person would not be able to call into technical support for assistance for anything, and if it was discovered that the program was being used illegally, you would be suceptible to charges, both civil and criminal.
