Hail,
We are trying to set up family sharing. And Terry's iPhone we get out to the
point share purchases heading where it has lifted iBooks store App Store and
iTunes it has Terry's email address and I continue button it also has an ad
account button. We have tried the ad account button and even when you add an
account which that one was the correct account or if you click on the
continue button it absolutely goes no further. So the question is, what do

Hi there! I'm very interested to hear more about this program and your
experience. I've been struggling with the issue of creating accessible PDF
forms. At this point, it is not doable by someone who is blind, at least
not on their own. I'd love to know if this works better for a screen reader

ask the city to check the water pressure at the meter.
then you may have to have a plumber check the pressure coming into the house and if there is a difference it may be roots clogging the lines somewhere along the way.
Call the city first if they are your water supplier.

months you know how when you flush the toilet the water turns on to fill
the tank back up? Well first of all, it fills up slower than it used to,
second, when I run the bath the toilet filling process nearly comes to a
standstill. next, when i run the washer in the basement when the washer
is filling up the bath won't fill and toilet won't fill the tank back up
unless the washer is done filling first. also washer filling seems to
take longer. any ideas?

Re: JAWS hot keys.

Ann Parsons

Hi all,

Yes, Mike, I agree. I think, IMO, that the makers of jaws need to take a good, hard look at the practices of other screen reader makers and ask themselve why every single one of them has a hotkey. WE did. SA does. NVDA does. So does the British screen reader whose name I can't remember. So does the one from Baum. It would seem to me, of course I'm not a techie, that if every other screen reader installs a hotkey, maybe there's a good reason for doing it.

Re: JAWS hot keys.

Hi all,

If I may gently point out. Jaws is the *only* screen reader which refuses to place a hotkey for the user at installation. Since the general user needs a hotkey in order to restart Jaws unless he or she is aware of the various ways to start a program in windows, it would seem to make sense to have Jaws invoke a hotkey. That hotkey can always be removed or changed by an experienced user. This attitude seems skewed to me. It would seem that a company would want to do what is best for the majority of its costomers.

This has nothing to do with JAWS settings. The hotkey for starting JAWS is

Interesting! I check for the hotkey after the upgrade and found the
hotkey was no longer there. However, when I have had to turn off JAWS
I have hardly used Alt-ctrl-j. This is because I am using NVDA or
Narrator. When I want to switch back to JAWS, I go to the desktop,
press j, turn off the other screen reader I am using and press Enter.
Even if you did not have another screen reader running, you can go the
the desktop and press J, followed by Enter. Or, as has been pointed
out already, press the Windows Key followed by the letter J, then
press Enter. I have concluded that having the jaws hotkey is not a
necessity.

Re: plumbing issue any ideas?

Hi all,

Well, I'm not a plumber, so I can't give you any advice except that you've got a water pressure problem. My best advice is to call a plumber. I'd get names from your neighbors or friends. I'd get three estimates if it looks like it's going to take lots of money to fix, and I'd choose either the middle one, or the guy who treats you like a human being instead of like a blind person. If you're really worried about being stiffed, get a neighbor or friend to be with you when the people come, and if you get a contract, do not sign anything unless you have the whole thing read to you, the whole thing, not parts. Do not allow your reader to say, "It says ..." No, no, uh-uh. read the whole thing, every word.

That's my best advice.

I asked my Dad who is a plumber.. Sounds like there is a leak in the main water line that supplies water to your house. Hoping for your sake if I'm correct it is on the city's side & not in your yard. If in your yard it is going to be expensive to fix. My Dad also suggested that you go outside & remove the cover to the crawl space & listen to see if you hear water running. The leak from what you describe will be pretty bad & you should be able to hear.

Re: gmail putting a lot of messages in spam

You can mark things as not spam after you receive them.  I don't know how effective this is or how many times you have to do this before GMail recognizes that addresses or domains aren't spam.  As far as I know, the spam filters aren't user configurable.  I don't like GMail for reasons like this and, though I have an account, I don't use it.

I want an e-mail address that won't change if I change providers and I pay a small amount, five dollars a month, to have an account I pay for, which has none of these problems and which is completely user definable.  The only thing that some users wouldn't like about my e-mail provider is that it only offers POP3 accounts.  But I'm sure there are many IMAP providers that sell MAPI accounts.

Hi. These are technical and programming books. There is info about windows and servers and that, but unless you want to dip deeper into the ins and outs of your OS, then these are not for you, not unless you have the inclination to learn a lot more about your computing environment. This is just to tell you what you are in for, so be prepared.

The below is an extract from a personal message from someone who wants the script, so please extract the info from below.

Hi. Here it is. I will place a beginning marker and end marker for you to copy the script. The script itself is between 2 lines of 8 asterisks. As
for other power shell scripts, let me know what you need and I'll see if I can write out some for you. This particular script I have adapted from the
Script I downloaded from the site. All you need do is to look for the download path which is "c:\Download\ebooks". If you need to change the download
path, just edit that line, or you can choose to create the path exactly as required by the script on your c drive, c:\Download\ebooks for example. After
that, just select all the text from the file, type in "Power shell" in your search box and press enter to invoke the power shell terminal. Then press
Alt+space, arrow up or down to the edit menu, then choose paste, and you are good to go. Cheers!

There is a text file with links to all the files. You feed it to a command line downloader as an import and the downloader does its thing.

Thank you very much Bro, but it's repetition that keeps me up on staying behind!  LOL  LOL

Making mistakes seems to be my best teacher, plus having lists like this & friends that understand that not everybody is computer savvy!  LOL
Take care.  Mike.  Go Dodgers!

Hi Michael,

I don't mean to bad mouth you, but you are failing to realize that not all Jaws users are as computer literate as yourself!  If you don't see what the problem is, then maybe you need to sit back & think back to a time before you knew what you now know.  Also, computer crap may come a whole lot easier to you than it does to others.  I know that personally I have to work very hard at this computer stuff, but to many others it's like 2nd nature.
Take care.  Mike.  Go Dodgers!

OK. I don't see what the problem is, all you have to do is go into the properties of the shortcut on the desktop and set up the shortcut key on the shortcut tab. Typing jaws 18 into the run dialogue box and pressing enter will also start Jaws if it does not start automatically after booting up.

Michael

This has nothing to do with JAWS settings.  The hotkey for starting JAWS is
assigned by the user in the JAWS shortcut properties.  It is not a JAWS
specific setting so saving your JAWS settings will not help with this issue.
